2006 (well almost)
So, here’s the story. I’ve been using blogger and decided to make the move to wordpress, I heard some good things about it. So I did my reasearch and made the move. I decided to start the new improved blog with this artist right here, Steve Huston.In the years between 1996-99 I ,like alot of others in the LA area, had the opportunity to study with him in animation studios(where he taught life drawing) and his Eagle Rock Studio (where he taught drawing,painting and gave an opinion or 2 on art). Seeing the studies and works in progress were an inspiration. Last I heard he moved to Montana ,I think, to live on a ranch and paint.

Claude- if you check out the link the paintings that are there are just a taste, there are studies and paintings that I saw in his studio that I hope to see again, in abook on the web, something..

Hey Louis,
The New blog looks great.The Brangwyn flickr is really great too. I have a print from this set of his drawings as well. When I was in Nyc, I got to see some original Cornwell’s, who was a student of Brangwyn.Amazing stuff. Thanks so much for link.
